SCHOOL FINANCIAL AID:  All Waianae Church members intending to enroll their children this coming 2012-2013 school year in either AMES or HMA must submit their 5-step Financial Assistance Application to their respective school as early as possible on order to be considered for funding. The deadline to be considered for any assistance from the Waianae Church is July 19.

 

LEAVING AMES: It's with sad hearts that we say good-by to Alio and Cynthia Santos. They will be leaving Waianae and the Islands for the Mainland and an new/old teaching position. We will miss them and ask God's blessing on this transition.

 

FUNERAL & WAKE SEVICES: Services for Jonathan Ioane, husband of Paula Ioane, will be on Friday, July 13, form 8:30 am-1:30 pm at the Miliani Memorial Park & Mortuary in Mililani. Burial will follow at the Nanakuli Homestead Cemetery on Haleakala Wve. in Nanakuli.

 

New Believer's Sabbath School: Meets every Sabbath at 9:30 am in the center classroom at the rear of the Sanctuary. All newly baptized members and all those who may be interested in baptism are encouraged to attend this class. Lani Mahelona will be leading out.


YOUTH NIGHT:  All Juniors, Earliteens, and Young Adults are invited Wednesday nights, at the Waianae SDA Church for food, fun and fellowship in the Word of God! Bring your friends at 7 pm. 

 

YOUTH SABBATH: The 2nd Sabbath of every month is Youth Sabbath and you (youth) choose what you want to do Sabbath afternoon. So get together and plan for the next Sabbaths' activity. Check with Dennis Gaboya for any suggestions or questions that you have.

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE DEPARTMENT is seeking used shoe boxes with lids and gently used stuffed animals to give to needy children. Place your donations in the community service food box located in the church lobby. Mahalo.

UKULELE PLAYERS:  Use your ukulele skills to praise the Lord and join us our Praise Songs before the worship service begins. The words and chords are on the screen and we supply the ukuleles. There is also an ukulele practice in the Sanctuary after potluck.
